These Terms & Privacy provisions govern your use of the website and how we handle personal data. By using this site or contacting us, you agree to these terms.

1) Controller

Quadrosghub, Unipessoal Lda., operating the website quadrosgroup.com (“QuadrosGroup”, “we”, “us”).

2) Scope

These terms apply to our website, contact form, email exchanges and calendar bookings we initiate with you. Any signed engagement letter or service agreement prevails over conflicting website terms.

3) Data We Collect

Information you submit: name, email, phone, company and message content; preferred meeting time where relevant.
Business communications: emails exchanged, meeting notes, proposals and files you provide.
Technical logs (minimal): IP address, timestamps, user agent and anti-spam/CAPTCHA tokens for security and reliability.
Marketing preferences (optional): your choices to receive updates or offers.

We do not intentionally collect special-category data via the contact form. Please avoid sending sensitive information unless we request it via secure means.

4) Purposes & Legal Bases (GDPR)

Responding to enquiries / pre-contract steps (e.g., quote, meeting): Art. 6(1)(b).
Operating the site, security/anti-abuse and essential service quality (limited metrics): Art. 6(1)(f) legitimate interests, applied proportionately and without invasive profiling.
Legal obligations (e.g., tax/audit if you become a client): Art. 6(1)(c).
Updates, insights and offers (only if you opt in): Art. 6(1)(a) consent, withdrawable at any time.

5) Email, Updates and Offers

We do not run a general newsletter at present. If we share updates, insights or offers, we will request opt-in consent (preferably double opt-in), include unsubscribe/preference links in each message and keep proof of consent.

6) Processors and International Transfers

We use reputable providers for hosting, email delivery, calendar/meeting tools and anti-spam/CAPTCHA. These act as processors under Data Processing Agreements (DPAs). Some processing may occur outside the EEA (e.g., United States). We rely on appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and, where applicable, participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF).

7) Retention

Enquiries and related emails: kept only as long as needed to handle your request and for reasonable follow-up (typically up to 24 months), or longer if required by law or an engagement.
Client records (if you engage us): retained per professional and legal obligations.
Security logs/anti-spam tokens: short retention aligned with security needs.
When no longer needed, we delete or anonymise securely.

8) Your Rights

You may access, rectify, erase, restrict, port or object to processing, and withdraw consent without affecting prior lawfulness. You may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority; in Portugal, the CNPD.

9) Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: HTTPS, restricted access, least-privilege controls, strong authentication with providers and credential hygiene. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to minimise risk and respond to incidents.

10) Cookies & Tracking

We use only strictly necessary cookies and anti-spam/CAPTCHA to protect forms and ensure availability. We do not use advertising cookies.

11) Children

Our contact channels are intended for individuals 13+. If you are under 13, a parent or guardian should contact us on your behalf.

12) Website Terms of Use

Information only, not advice. Site content is general information, not accounting, legal or investment advice. Decisions should be made with professional advice tailored to your context.
No client relationship by browsing/contacting. A client engagement arises only after both parties sign an engagement letter or service agreement.
Third-party links. We are not responsible for third-party content, security or privacy practices.
Acceptable use. Do not misuse the site (e.g., unauthorised access attempts, malware injection, large-scale scraping or disruption).
Availability and changes. We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the site without notice.

13) Intellectual Property

Unless stated otherwise, all site content is owned by Quadrosghub, Unipessoal Lda. or used under licence. You may link to our pages; any other reproduction, distribution or modification requires prior written permission.

14) Confidentiality

Information you share for a potential engagement will be handled with professional discretion. On request, we can execute a mutual NDA before receiving sensitive materials.

15) Liability & Warranties

The site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quadrosghub, Unipessoal Lda. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the site. Nothing here excludes liability where it cannot be excluded under applicable law.

16) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quadrosghub, Unipessoal Lda. from claims or losses arising from unlawful use of the site or breach of these terms.

17) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Privacy are governed by Portuguese law. Courts of Ponta Delgada, Azores shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.

We may update this page to reflect legal or operational changes. We will post the new version with the updated date at the top of this page. Where changes are material, we will provide additional notice.
